Objectives of the Network

The main objective of the “Network on the Economics of Food Choice and Health” is to build an interdisciplinary scientific network in order to organize international scientific research on economic aspects (e.g., preferences, attitudes, ability, willingness to pay and demand) of healthy food choice. Also, international scientific events on the economics of healthy food choices are organized. The network enables the members to discuss and conduct related research interacting efficiently at an international level and with high information content. The interdisciplinary approach is relevant to tackle the goal of analyzing economic determinants of healthy food choices.
